Austria hosting Iranian short film ‘Sleepless’

Iranian short title ‘Sleepless’ has been taking part at the Austrian festival “Zeitimpuls shortfilm”.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported on Wednesday that ‘Sleepless’ by Soudabeh Kamrani is taking part at the 2020 special edition of the Austrian event.

“A woman wakes up every night by a child's cry,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The film is about “a woman's nightmare that repeats every night, it is about some women's sorrows, fears and loves.”

Earlier reports said that Amir-Hossein Riahi’s short film ‘Inversion’ is also participating at the “Zeitimpuls shortfilm”.

The “Zeitimpuls shortfilm” special edition 2020 is taking place online.

It began on June 22 and will continue until June 27, 2020.
